This product has changed a lot since I 1st started using it over 10 years ago. I had blue hair before I used it this time and within 2 washes I can see it starting to come through again. üòï Not as permanent as I had hoped it would be but still a great colour.

This colour is amazing. Lovely bright red.covers all greys (I have about 30% grey). My hair is bob length and I use every drop so any longer andI think that I’d get two boxes as my hair is pretty thick. Always leaves my hair shiny, silky and soft, not brittle and dry like some products can.

It leaves your hair super soft and it is really beautiful.
The only downside is the strong peroxide smell, but otherwise absolutely great

Very impressed! Most important consideration - it's cruelty free! There was plenty of mixture in the bottle to cover my whole head (although the bottle itself was too big and squidgy to efficiently get all the mixture out, so I cut the bottle in half and scooped the remainder out with my hands). There was no awful smell, and no stinging that you get with other permanent hair dyes. My hair is mid/dark brown with greys and already coloured red with another product, and the colour came out pretty much as the box, which I love. When I washed my hair for the first time after a few days much less dye came out than I am used to, which is really impressive. Next time I might mix the Hollywood Red and the Deep Amber to get a more orangey red but I can safely say that, whatever colour I choose, from now on I am definitely a Smart Beauty convert!

I am so impressed with this hair dye! It's such a struggle trying to find vegan and CF permanent red dye so when I saw this I had to try it and I'm so glad I've found it! I've loved the smart beauty red colour refresher for a while but it doesn't seem to be stocked in Superdrug anymore so a Google search found this site.
I'm super impressed with:
*Complete grey coverage! Seriously, it's all disguised.
*The bright colour. It's like a semi permanent fashion shade but permanent.
*1 pack did my whole head. I've got 22" extensions and super thick hair so this is a huge deal.
I can't comment on the colour retention yet but I'm hoping it stays this vibrant for at least a few washes and if it does, I've definitely found my new holy grail of hair dyes.

Probably the best permanent red colour I have tried , great coverage on unbleached hair but still not as vibrant as the semi permanent red colours around

Good hair dye. Love the colour. I have dreadlocks and it didn't dry them out too much. The only downside was that the bottle was very hard to press/squeeze so I ended up taking the nozzle off. Just about to buy another one and will be trying a different colour.

The product, itself is amazing. I absolutely love it. It last a lot longer than any other red dye I've used in the past.
The delivery process was a nightmare. It took slightly under 3 weeks to get here, and when it did, the package was opened in different areas, squashed on one side, and the box containing my 4 hair dyes was barely holding together. From now on I think I'll order this product through Amazon to ensure it's here in 2 days and in great condition.
